Lingivio

Lingivio Compared With Google Translate docs

The document mode of a free, universally available translator.

These competitor facts were last checked 94 days ago. Vendors change pricing and features without notice, so treat them as unproven until they are re-checked.

What Google Translate docs Does Better

Free, instant, and covering more languages than anyone. For a quick read of a foreign document where the layout does not matter, it is hard to argue with.

Where We Differ

We optimise for a file you have to hand to someone else: structure preserved, formulas intact, and an explicit fallback when a segment cannot be translated confidently.

Google Translate docs Free — cheaper than anything we sell — but the file comes back with its layout and formulas broken. Checked against the vendor's own published information

We have not checked this against the vendor's own material, so we do not state it. An empty cell here is an admission, not a verdict.

How to Check This Yourself

Our side of every row is derived from the product itself: the target-language matrix is the same module the API validates a job against, so this page cannot claim a combination the API would refuse. The competitor side is taken from that vendor's own published pricing and product information, and re-checked at least every 90 days.

We publish a real before and after from our own engine, produced from the same sample file every time. We deliberately do not publish a competitor's output of the same file: we have no licence to redistribute their result, and a screenshot we produced of someone else's product is not evidence you can check. Run the same file through both and compare — that is the honest version of a side-by-side.

Google Translate docs is a trademark of its owner, named here to identify the product being compared. There is no affiliation and no endorsement.

What It Would Cost Here

Enter the credits you use in a month. The plans are read live from the same catalog checkout charges from, so nothing here can drift from what you would actually pay.
