Cookie Policy
What Lingivio stores in your browser, why, and for how long. This page covers cookies and browser storage alike, and says which each item is. The short version: everything the app sets is strictly necessary or a preference, except two analytics items that are stored only if you allow that category and are deleted if you withdraw.

| Name | Stored as | Set by | Purpose | Lifetime | Category |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| __Secure-better-auth.session_token | Cookie | Us | Keeps you signed in | 7 days | Strictly necessary |
| __Secure-better-auth.dont_remember | Cookie | Us | Records that you asked not to stay signed in | Until you close the browser | Strictly necessary |
| __Secure-better-auth.state | Cookie | Us | Protects the sign-in with Google round trip against cross-site request forgery | 5 minutes | Strictly necessary |
| PARAGLIDE_LOCALE | Cookie | Us | Remembers your chosen interface language | 1 year | Functional |
| ll-theme | Browser storage | Us | Remembers light or dark mode, so the page does not flash the wrong colours | Until you clear it | Functional |
| ll-beta-feedback | Browser storage | Us | Remembers that we already asked you the one-time beta question (or that you dismissed it), so it is never shown again | Until you clear your browser data | Functional |
| ll-consent | Cookie | Us | Records which non-essential categories you allowed, so we do not ask again and nothing non-essential runs without it. It holds four yes/no values and nothing that identifies you | 1 year | Strictly necessary |
| ll-attr | Cookie | Us | Remembers which campaign, search engine or site you first arrived from, so we can tell which of them is worth continuing. It holds a campaign label and a site address, never a profile of you, and it is written only if you allowed analytics | 90 days | Analytics |
| _ga | Cookie | Third party | Set by Google Analytics, only on a deployment where we have configured it and only after you allow analytics. Distinguishes one browser from another with a random identifier so visits can be counted; it carries nothing that identifies you to us | Up to 400 days | Analytics |
| _ga_* | Cookie | Third party | Set by Google Analytics beside the cookie above, under the same two conditions. Remembers the state of the current visit (session) for our specific analytics property | Up to 400 days | Analytics |
| ll-anon | Browser storage | Us | An opaque random identifier, so one visitor moving between pages is counted once instead of several times. It is generated at random and derived from nothing about you or your device, and it is stored only if you allowed analytics | Until you withdraw analytics consent or clear it | Analytics |
| kelviq.com | Cookie | Third party | Set by our merchant of record on the checkout page for the checkout itself and for fraud prevention. We do not control these | Set by the provider | Strictly necessary |
Categories
Strictly necessary: needed for the service to work at all — signing you in, keeping you signed in, and protecting the sign-in flow from cross-site attacks. These cannot be switched off, and no consent is required for them.
Functional preferences: your language and light or dark theme. These only remember a choice you made and are stored in your browser.
Analytics: off unless you allow it. Allowing it lets us count page views with a cookieless measurement script from Cloudflare, remember an opaque random identifier so one visit is counted once, and remember which campaign or site you first arrived from. It never records what is in your documents. Refusing means the script is never put in the page and neither item is stored; withdrawing later deletes both.
Diagnostics: off unless you allow it. Allowing it lets an error-reporting script send us the details of a crash in your browser so we can fix it. It is only ever active on a deployment where we have configured that service, and never without your consent.
Marketing: off unless you allow it. This category governs advertising cookies — for example, measurement that connects a visit to the advertisement that led to it. We do not currently run any marketing or advertising tools, so allowing it sets nothing today; if we introduce such a tool, it will run only under this permission, and this page will name it before it appears.
Cookies and browser storage
Your light or dark theme choice is kept in your browser local storage rather than in a cookie, so it is never sent to us. Your consent choice is kept in a cookie instead, and it has to be: it is what lets our server decide not to put a third-party analytics script into the page in the first place, which is the only way a refusal can actually be honoured. Clearing your browser data removes both, and we will ask again.
Third party cookies
The only third-party cookies in the product are set by our payment provider on the checkout page, when its script and payment frame load. They are subject to its own cookie and privacy policies. Google Analytics, on deployments where it is configured, sets its own cookies on our site only after you allow analytics — they are listed in the table above. The Cloudflare measurement script we load when you allow analytics is a third-party script but sets no cookie and stores nothing in your browser, which is why it has no row in the table above.
Changing your choice
Use the cookie settings control in the footer, on this page, or in your account settings to change your choice at any time. Withdrawing is one click, exactly like giving it, and takes effect immediately without a page reload. You can also clear cookies and site data in your browser, which signs you out, resets every preference, and means we will ask you again.
